For a couple of years, Dr. Robert H. Cortner Jr. has served as an agency doctor to help cover the Share Medical Center emergency room for the required 24/7. For the last six months, he has covered the ER from Monday through Thursday, and has now been added to the staff as a full-time physician.

Dr. Cortner received his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth.
