RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Southern Arkansas freshman center fielder Hallie Saintignan has been honored by the Great American Conference as the league's Softball Freshman of the Week after the rookie's solid performance at the plate in six games for the Lady Muleriders this past week.

Saintignan collected seven hits this past week as she hit .412 in 17 at-bats. The Benton, Louisiana, native had a pair of multi-hit games, including a 2-for-3 effort in the second game of the Henderson State series.
