Tigers Rally Comes up Short

ALVA, Oklahoma – The Ouachita Tiger baseball team came up short in two tightly contested games 8-5 and 3-2 on Saturday afternoon to Northwestern Oklahoma State.

After being shutout in game one of the series, the Ouachita Tigers (10-32, 6-20 GAC) baseball team dug in and battled in the final two games of the series.

The Tigers offense pounced first in the top of the first inning. Jakahari Howell (Arkadelphia, Ark.) reached on an error by the third baseman to lead off the game. Howell made it all the way to third after a Kyle Alexander (Conway, Ark.) single to left...
