Cora Vaughan crowned Miss Freedom

Cora Vaughn is Freedom High School's 2018-2019 Miss Freedom. She will represent FHS in the fall at NWOSU's Miss Cinderella Pageant.

"Your 2018-2019 Miss Freedom is ... Cora Vaughan."

Cora Vaughan was named Miss Freedom during last Saturday's pageant at Freedom High School. First runner-up was Allison Galindo and second runner up was Khrista McComb. Vaughan won the interview and talent awards, which were 30 percent each of the final score; she won the evening gown award which was 25 percent of the final score.

Vaughan is the 17-year-old daughter of Sherry and Buck Vaughan. She enjoys rodeo, welding, showing livestock, painting, creative writing, reading, running and eating food. Her plans include enlisting in the Marin...
