ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita baseball team defeated the University of the Ozarks 4-2 on Tuesday afternoon at Rab Rodgers Field.
The win on Tuesday snapped a month long losing streak for Ouachita (11-32) and the Tigers snapped the Ozarks (15-16) two game winning streak.
Preston Speers (McKinney, Texas) was the offensive player of the game for the Tigers. The senior went 2-for-4 on the day with a pair of runs and a trio of RBI's in the contest.
The Tigers had to win the game in come from behind fashion as the Eagles took an early 2-0 advantage in the top of the second inning.
