Eagles' offense stalls as St. Edward's posts sweep

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 19, 2018) – Oklahoma Christian managed only 11 hits and three runs in 16 innings as the Eagles dropped both games of a doubleheader to St. Edward's (Texas) on Thursday, losing 8-0 and 5-3 at Dobson Field.

In what has become a logjam in the Heartland Conference baseball standings, OC (19-20, 8-10 Heartland) slipped a spot into a tie for fifth, while St. Edward's (22-17, 10-8) moved up a spot into a tie for third. The top four teams qualify for the league's postseason tournament.
