Softball series moved to Sunday and Monday

April 20, 2018

ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State softball team's home weekend series against Henderson State has been pushed back to a Sunday-Monday series due to weather forecasts in the Alva area.

The Rangers and Reddies will now square off on Sunday, April 22nd and Monday, April 23rd with doubleheaders scheduled for both days. Games are set to get started on 2 p.m. on Sunday and at 11 a.m. on Monday.

Northwestern will look to finish the season on a high note as they have now dropped eight of their last ten contests and will be looking to spoil a conference tournament berth for Henderson State. The Reddies will enter the series with a record of 28-19 and currently hold a three-game advantage over Southern Nazarene for the fifth seed in the conference tournament, but have struggled on the road so far this season, posting a record of just 9-11.
