An effort endorsed by former U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn to overturn House Bill 1010xx, the historic $400 million revenue bill that’s supposed to pay for those increases, is continuing. Organizers say they plan to submit a referendum petition to the Oklahoma Secretary of State next week and begin gathering signatures to put the issue to a statewide vote later this year.
