Ouachita falls in Slugfest to Delta State

CLEVLAND, Miss. – The Ouachita baseball teams late inning rallies came up short on Tuesday night as No. 3 Delta State slugged their way to a 20-13 victory.
Ouachita (13-34) and Delta State (36-7) combined to score 33 runs in the contest. The school record for combined runs in a game is 35 and was set against East Central on February 17, 2013. In the first meeting of the season between Ouachita and Delta State, the Statesmen came away with a 3-2 victory at Rab Rodgers Field.
Ouachita started out the bottom of the first inning in routine fashion and looked as if they would get out of the inning...
