Kelsi Wilson plays her way into top 10 finish, team finishes 9th

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Kelsi Wilson was fantastic in this year's Great American Conference Championship, leading her team to a 10th place finish Tuesday, shooting a total 1003 for the tournament.

Wilson concluded her final round this afternoon, firing an 81 to finish in a tie for eighth place in the 43 player field. Her play was the best in school history at the conference finale, cementing her place in the Northwestern Oklahoma State record books. The junior finished just two strokes out of seventh and only four behind the sixth ranked player.

Brittani Casement was very consistent in her outings as she shot 83, 84 and 85 in her third conference tournament appearance, coming in 35th overall. Nine strokes behind her was senior Olivia Brock who concluded her career with an overall 261 total.

Just one stroke and one place apart, Rylie Eller and Ashley Watts shot 94 and 87 on the day respectively, bringing their tournament totals to 264 and 265.

Arkansas Tech and one-bag Piddon finished first in the tourney where both led wire-to-wire. Tech finished the tournament with a team total of 905, besting second place team, Southwestern Oklahoma State by 18 strokes. Piddon also won by a wide margin at nine strokes, firing a sizzling three under over the 54 hole tournament.

The tournament concludes the season for the Lady Rangers.
