ALVA, Okla. – When the Alva High School softball team takes the field next August, there will be a new face leading the program as AHS has named Megan Stratton as the new head softball coach.
The daughter of a softball coach, Stratton is excited to follow in her father’s footsteps as she begins her head coaching career.
“My biggest coaching influence has to be my dad,” Stratton said on Thursday. “He has coached 20-plus years at my high school in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He has definitely been my biggest role model.
