Woods County commissioners OK with art grant application

 


Dr. Kay Decker appeared before the Woods County commissioners Monday morning and asked if they would be the required “local governmental agency” to be referenced in grant applications from Freedom West's application to the National Endowment for the Arts.

Decker said she has been notified that rural northwest Oklahoma is deemed “underserved.” She said the grant amounts could range up to $200,000 and it would not cost the commissioners any money.
