Each summer the Alva Garden Council features two special gardens, one from each of the local garden clubs, in addition to their regular selections for Yard of the Month and Blooming Business of the Month. For this year's National Garden Week, the Alva Tulip Garden Club selected Evelyn Hofen's garden at 211 Barnes St., Alva.
