Hospital CFO outlines profit plan

 


Hospital Chief Financial Officer Kevin O'Brien told the Alva Hospital Authority members of his projections for the next fiscal year that will move the hospital from the anticipated FY 2017-2018 loss of $1.88 million to a profit of $164,000 next year.

The projection is dependent upon being named a Critical Access Hospital. The goals are as follows:

• Increase swingbed days by 50 (four per month)

• Increase West End Clinic by 40 percent (which is 50 visits per month) due to full year of Erin Little

• Increase Downtown Clinic visits by 20 percent (30 visits per month) due to full year of Dr. Hick...
