Historic oil and gas productivity growth could present future risks

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve of Kansas City has released its latest issue of the quarterly publication the Oklahoma Economist.

Oil and gas production in the United States and Oklahoma is now about 10 percent higher than its previous record highs, according to Chad Wilkerson, branch executive, vice president and economist at the Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
