Dorothea Elizabeth Haley, 91 of Emporia, Kansas, died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the Holiday Resort Care Center in Emporia.

Dorothea was born January 2, 1927, in Olpe, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Voeste) Hohne. She was baptized at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olpe and attended St. Joseph Catholic School for 12 years. Dorothea worked six years at the Army-Navy Store and 11 years at the downtown JC Penney’s store, both in Emporia. She also worked for 18 years in Alva, Oklahoma, for CR Anthony.
