Defunct St. Gregory's auctions off $330K worth of items

 


SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) — An auction of items from the former St. Gregory's University brought in more than $330,000 that will be used to pay creditors of the bankrupt university.

The Oklahoma City reports that bidders online and on-site at Dakil Auctineers Inc. in Shawnee purchased fitness equipment, computers, furniture, musical instruments and about 70,000 books on Thursday. Some of the books included rare centuries-old religious texts from the school's Treasure Room.
