Istation approved to provide reading assessments to Oklahoma school districts

 


OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma State Board of Education has approved Istation for the Reading Sufficiency Act. Istation’s monthly assessment will be available to Oklahoma educators as a means to screen students for reading failure.

According to state law, the purpose of the Oklahoma Reading Sufficiency Act (RSA) “is to ensure that each child attains the necessary reading skills by completion of the third grade which will enable that student to continue development of reading skills and to succeed throughout school and life.” Istation will be one of the tools available to school districts during the...
