On Oct. 24 the Timberlake officer team set off towards Indianapolis, Indiana, for the National FFA Convention. The group left at 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning. On their way the team stopped in Ozark, Missouri, for lunch at the famous Lambert Cafe: Home Of The Throwing Rolls. On the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 16, members of the Timberlake FFA chapter held their first meeting of the year. The officers conducted an official business meeting to take an official vote for the year's T-shirt design. Officers also discussed other business matters with members. The chapter then participated in an exciting and competitive game of Slip-N-Slide kickball, which was unfortunately cut short due to a lightning-filled thunderstorm.
