The Alva FFA officer team was among over 650,000 FFA members who traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana, to attend the 91st annual National FFA Convention and Expo. Alva FFA and 4-H held their annual Back To School Ice Cream Social. This year there was a large crowd of around 200 4-H and FFA guests. Nine members of the Alva FFA chapter attended the 46th annual Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp. This four-day camp was at the Tulakogee Conference Center. At this camp more than 1,600 Oklahoma FFA members from over 300 FFA chapters in the state register to attend. The Alva FFA members went to the fourth and final session July 11-14th. Four members of the Alva FFA livestock judging team attended a three-day judging camp on the campus of Oklahoma State University. The Alva students were able to work side by side with the 2017 National winning judging team from Oklahoma State University.
