    Last week we looked at the Creation and the Creator beginning in Genesis. This week in Genesis we will look at Adam and Eve and the first encounter with evil, with Satan. Satan, in the form of a serpent, tempts Eve and she fails the test. Then Adam fails the test as well. From these encounters we learn about the nature of Satan. First, we learn that Satan is a liar. Bob was raised in Alva and attended Alva High School. He married Joyce Ann (Roberts) Beagley in the Bible Baptist Church of Alva, on May 15, 1959.     Active Covid-19 case in Alva have more than doubled in the last week, according to the most recent update from the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH). In last week’s report, Alva had 21 active cases. Data released Wednesday, Jan. 12, now lists Alva with 44 active cases. Previously, other Woods County cities had zero cases listed because the OSDH shows 1-4 cases as zero. This week, Waynoka is listed with seven active cases.
