    At the Woods County commissioners' regular Monday morning meeting Aug. 12, commissioners John Smiley, David Hamil and Chairman Randy McMurphy approved transferring funds in the amount of $30,000 to purchase a Mack truck for District 3. The commissioners also approved action in District 3 to bid out ID#312-39 Cat Loader, as this item is surplus. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was recorded about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday about 8 miles (13 kilometers) south-southeast of Medford, about 93 miles (150 kilometers) north of Oklahoma City.
