Fire Chief Bryan Miller said an Alva resident who wished to remain anonymous contacted him on July 18 wanting to recognize Firefighter Grant Taylor for his heroism and professionalism while off duty.     On Monday morning, the Woods County commissioners approved a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the City of Alva that will allow the county to build a new senior citizens building on city-owned land.
