    Two people are facing drug charges after a store manager reported suspicious activity. Management of the Jiffy Trip convenience store contacted the Cherokee Police Department on Saturday, July 6, at approximately 9:30 a.m. The business is owned by Hammer-Williams and is a complex including Jiffy Trip, Sonic Drive-In and Subway.     A Cherokee man is facing two felony drug charges after law enforcement arranged monitored purchases by a confidential informant. Sjon Tomas White, 62, of Cherokee, is charged with two counts of distributing a controlled dangerous substance within 2,000 feet of a school. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for ten years to life and a fine of up to $40,000.
