    This year's cross country season has been one for the books. Many people joined and remained on the team. One person got within five people of reaching his goal of going to state, Nate Wood. He ran in every cross country meet this season, making districts and regionals. Wood said that the run at regionals was fun.     The Woods County commissioners unanimously approved a legal document “accepting a beneficial interest as set in the Alva Arena Authority Trust indenture, as amended, designating Woods County, Oklahoma, as a co-beneficiary of said trust.” The city of Alva is giving up 50 percent of its stake in the Arena Authority to Woods County since the arena may not end up being on land within the city.
