Among most movie critics, they would consider David Lean's "Lawrence of Arabia" one of the most acclaimed films of all times. The movie shows amazing vistas of the beautiful Arabian deserts. It has had a powerful impact on filmmakers of the following generations – particularly Academy Award-winning Steven Spielberg. Spielberg said, "I was inspired the first time I saw 'Lawrence.' It made me feel puny. It still makes me feel puny. And that's one measure of its greatness." We live in a world that...

When one falls unexpectedly, it’s only natural to look around and hope no one saw the embarrassing moment. Pete Nessarella of Alva may have thought his spill escaped notice, but a doorbell camera caught the whole thing. Nessarella was delivering mail for the post office when he tripped on a local front porch step. Apparently his spill was entertaining enough to bring him some notoriety. Joelle Randall spotted the fall on her doorbell camera video and submitted it to America’s Funniest Videos (AFV). Randall received notice from AFV that Nes...

An article in Car and Driver Magazine addresses protest over self-driving vehicles. Waymo has a fleet of Chrysler Pacificas in Chandler, Arizona, and Uber is testing a fleet in nearby Tempe. The Human Driving Association was founded last year whose goal is “to advocate for making cars safer while protecting the freedom to own...
As we have seen, President Abraham Lincoln and Congress conspired to make Nevada a state just days before the 1864 presidential election, although Nevada did not have enough residents to qualify for statehood. Nevertheless, the new state seated two U.S. senators, one member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and chose three members of the 1864 Electoral College – all supportive of Lincoln and his policies. This was not, however, the first time that Lincoln and his political allies had b...

Guys like Peter, Paul, Timothy, Silas, and Luke, to name a few. Mark was important in his own right...
