Mooreland Bearcat football practices are underway and two Freedom students have signed up for the upcoming season. Lance Bolar, sophomore (No. 25), is on the high school team; Justin "Duke" Morris, eighth grade, will be playing junior high football. The Bearcat season starts with a scrimmage on Aug. 18 against Crescent at Mooreland. The junior high team's first game will be against Alva on Aug. 29 at home.
