Kaylyn Province takes a ride around the arena after winning the title of Freedom Rodeo Queen 2017. Tasha Begner was runner-up. Begner won the appearance category and received a Montana Silversmith earrings and necklace set. Province won the interview and horsemanship categories and will receive a hay bag/grain feeder and Corriente belt buckle. Together, the two contestants sold over $15,000 in tickets. Province sold over $10,000 in tickets and received a four-piece luggage set. As the runner-up, Begner received a bridle and breast collar set and a Trinity Ranch Western purse. As queen, Province received a dozen roses, a folding saddle rack, a leather sash, a Corriente belt buckle, crown, and a trophy saddle with a breast collar.
