NOW THAT'S BEYOND A MILK TRUCK! – This bright orange former milk truck got lots of second looks at Kiowa's Labor Day Car Show in Progress Park Sunday. Rick Prather of Goddard, Kansas, brought the classic he said took two years to rebuild. The truck is a Divco, which was a brand name of delivery trucks built and marketed in the U.S. from 1926 until 1986. Divco is an acronymn that stands for Detroit Industrial Vehicles Company. Prather said his wife wasn't too excited about him rebuilding another vehicle until he painted the logo for their Wichita bakery on the side – Cameo Cakes. The bakery is located in the Indian Hills Shopping Center at Meridian and 13th in Wichita. The burgundy 1955 Bel Air parked next to the milk truck is owned by Gene Taylor of Newton. Taylor said he's built cars for 40 years. However, he paid to have this beauty restored.
