Freedom's annual trophy auction was held Jan. 10 at the American Legion Hall. The FFA students fed about 100 people. About 80 people bid on items, said faculty sponsor Bryant Weber. Donations are still coming in, but at last count the amount raised by the event was between $14,000 and $15,000 – a little more than raised last year, Weber said.
