Alva American Legion Post #92 is proud to be sponsoring Alva High School students attending Oklahoma American Legion Boys State and Oklahoma American Legion Auxiliary Girls State where they will participate in a nonpartisan week of leadership, government and patriotism. These delegates have just finished their junior year of high school and are representative of the best of our community. Boys State will be held at Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College campus in Miami May 26 through June 2, while Girls State will be held at the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman May 27 through June 1.
