Sen. Roland Pederson, R-Burlington (far right), and Rep. Carl Newton, R-Cherokee (far left), donate a turkey and a ham to the Pond Creek United Methodist Church food pantry. The legislators placed a wager on who would win the Pond Creek-Hunter vs. Waynoka state championship football game. Sen. Pederson won the wager when the Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers took home the state championship title. The wager decided to which community the holiday meal would be donated. Sen. Pederson and Rep.
