Megan Caldwell opens new insurance office in Alva

August 7, 2016

Monday, Aug. 8, Meagan Caldwell has announced she will open her own Farmer's Insurance agency in Suite F of the Professional Building, at 410 Fourth St. in Alva. Days and hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 8 am. to 5 p.m., and by appointment other times.

Caldwell married Travis Caldwell last year. They have three daughters, Kacie, age 9; Kursten, age 7; and Kamryn, age 5.

Caldwell began her insurance career in 2011 while working with an independent agency in Woodward. The family moved to Alva in 2014 and she was with the State Farm agency here in Alva until recently. Caldwell attended the Alva schools from elementary through eighth grade. She is a graduate of Buffalo High School.

When asked what types of insurance she will provide, Caldwell listed personal lines for individuals, such as auto, home, life and casualty insurance. For business, Farmer's Insurance offices worker's comp, farm and ranch, and "toy"insurance for motorcycles, ATVs, travel trailers and boats.

She will also offer Blue Cross/Blue Shield, which is separate from Farmers Insurance. Caldwell said, "If I can't provide it, I'll get you somebody who can."

Paul and Deb Corr, who have an existing Farmer's Agency, will continue in business at their location.
