Call for help leads to felony charge

Woods County Dispatch received a call from a woman who said a man was holding a gun in her face in Waynoka. Law enforcement had to use other resources to locate the address where police eventually received inconsistent stories.
According to court records, the call came in about 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26. The caller, who identified herself as Michella, could not give the exact location of the residence. She said the man with the gun passed out, and she didn’t need any help.
Dispatch was able to ping the caller’s cellphone activity, which narrowed the location down to three lots near Broadwa...
