The Alva Robotics team met for an information session on Aug. 27 at the Alva Public Library. A group of enthusiastic students and parents met to discuss plans for the group to participate in the Heartland BEST robotics competition at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. The competition involves building a robot to compete against teams from around the state.
