Ever since humans discovered fire, they’ve been looking at other sources of energy to replace it.

It’s a fact that in the early days of the automobile, Thomas Edison and Henry Ford disagreed on the driving force the automobile should use: internal combustion or electricity. Plagued by weight and short range, the first electric resulted from the invention of the lead-acid battery in 1859.
