AHS goes 1-0, holds off Blackwell

AHS Football opened its season with a 27-22 win over Blackwell on Friday night. Coach Taylor Schwerdtfeger said “All of the players we will put on the field will do big things.”
During the face-off with the Blackwell Maroons on Friday night, the game was kick-started by junior Davion Murrow. Murrow intercepted a pass on the very first play made by the Maroons. Murrow’s interception led to the first touchdown of the Goldbugs season.
