The Alva High School cheerleaders and Band of Gold held their first pep rally of the year in the high school gymnasium at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26. The pep rally was for all students and faculty in Alva from grades pre-K through 12, and included cheers, dances and a pyramid, all performed by the AHS cheerleaders. Music was played by the AHS Band of Gold, and players were introduced from the softball and football teams.
