Brother Jack and I attended the Kiowa, Kansas, Labor Day Car Show on Sunday. Jack had gone to Fairview the day before to the car show. He said there were maybe 200 cars and lots of spectators. Kiowa's show was a bit smaller, but there were lots of nice cars. There were several folks I knew from all over to visit with. The Wenzel brothers sat out the burnout in anticipation of this week's Alva show. Jack parked next to Waynoka's John Coles and his wife and their '58 retractable hardtop Ford. John is a good sport.
