Tanya Phillips, AMS teacher, and Ron Sunderland, AMS principal, address the gathered grandparents and family members at the Alva Middle School Grandparents Day.
Alva Middle School (AMS) students delighted grandparents and family members during a special reading on Friday, Sept. 16, in the AMS Library.
Students walked in single file into the library to take their seats in preparation for the reading. The groups of students performed at different times of the day, according to their class period. Grandparents and family were seated at tables in front of a podium at the front of the room. Tanya Phillips, AMS teacher, introduced the students and thanked the family members for attending the reading.
