Livestock judging contest at Woods County Fair draws 44 evaluators

The first-place Senior FFA Team at the Woods County Fair consists of (from left) Nathan Pitts, Brooke Ferguson, Tatum Rose and Traben Redgate, representing Waynoka FFA.

Nine teams and nine individuals from the Alva, Waynoka and Freedom 4-H and FFA participated in the Woods County Fair Livestock Judging Contest on Sept. 10.

In the Senior FFA Division, Waynoka FFA placed first with the team of Traben Redgate, Brooke Ferguson, Nathan Pitts and Tatum Rose. Second place went to Alva FFA: Julie Owen, Caleb Chapman, Cooper Sneary and David Carpenter. Third place went to Freedom FFA: Yamila Galindo, Iridian Herrera, Angel Cardenas and Nathan Wood. High individual in the Senior FFA went to Tatum Rose, second to Brooke Ferguson (both of Waynoka), third to Caleb Chapman...
