In the Alva High School Goldbugs' renewal of their longtime rivalry with Fairview Yellow Jackets, Alva running back Davion Murrow put up big numbers to help the Goldbugs to a 28-20 victory over Fairview.
The last time Alva met Fairview on the gridiron was in 2009, but that long stint didn't seem to dampen the rivalry between the two schools as the Goldbugs battled to put up their ninth straight win against the Jackets on Friday night during Fairview's homecoming.
