This weekend is “Family” weekend, here in Rangerville. I always look forward to these opportunities to meet the parents of some of our students. In fact, it sometimes gives us the chance to meet some of the students for the first time. You see, some families are operating under the false impression that their children are regularly attending church while here in Alva. So, when the parents make the trip and stay through until Sunday morning, some young’uns are forced to keep up appearances. Perhaps it’s not really lying if we just act like we’ve met these children before. Perhaps.
