Woods County commissioners hold special meeting on Tuesday morning

The Woods County commissioners canceled their regular meeting on Monday, and called a special meeting for Tuesday, a day their budget maker person could be present. They figured this would be more efficient rather than meeting two days in a row.
Buddy Carol distributed a document showing that property valuation in the county increased by $4.5 million to $215,701,072. The increase in taxable valuation will provide $43,852.18 in additional ad valorem tax to the current appropriation over fiscal year (FY) 2015-16.
