A resolution establishing new water and sewer rates is on the agenda for the Alva City Council meeting Monday. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. The council agreed to new rates for a special category of utility users such as schools, the university and the prison.
In other action the council will vote on a budget amendment of #3,511 from an insurance claim for a vandalized cemetery mower.
