Ladybugs softball season comes to a close against Perry at Regionals

PERKINS – The Alva High School Ladybugs rallied in the top of the seventh against the Perry Lady Maroons in the elimination round on Friday to take the game into extra innings, but a final run from the Maroons ended the Ladybugs' season 9-10.

The Alva Ladybugs had a strong start to the Class 3A Regional Softball Tournament in Perkins as they had little resistance taking down the Chisholm Lady Longhorns on Thursday, but their big test came against No. 2 of Class 3A Perkin-Tryon Lady Demons.
