The kitchen in the AHS Family and Consumer Sciences room has been newly remodeled.
In the summer of 2016, the kitchen in the Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) room was remodeled. The old kitchen in the Alva High School FACS room was first installed in the early 70s. The only renovation ever made was this summer.
"The new kitchen renovation started in June, with the floor plan and cabinet layout designed by Jim Hurst of Starr Lumber in Alva," said FACS teacher Janelle Hammer.
The remodeled kitchen features new oak cabinets, new counter tops and back splashes, new garbage disposals, stainless steel sinks and faucets. There is also new vinyl plank flooring along with a ceilin...
