Alva FFA competes and serves through September

The Alva FFA Chapter has been busy with many activities including livestock shows, livestock judging, opening ceremonies competitions, a food drive and the chapter’s first annual meeting.
There were many FFA and 4-H members who had entries in the Woods County Fair, Oklahoma State Fair and the upcoming Tulsa State Fair. The livestock judging team also competed at the Woods County Fair where they placed second and then placed eighth at the Oklahoma City State Fair. They will compete at the Tulsa State Fair this Thursday. The Opening Ceremonies team also competed at Owasso and placed fifth.
