Student Council annual lock-in a success

On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Alva High School student council held their annual lock-in.
“Every year it’s a bonding thing for the kids. And most years it’s a chance to plan out homecoming, but we were ahead this year,” said co-advisor Nick Bradt.
The lock-in was held at the high school from 8 p.m. Saturday evening to 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
During the lock-in, many games were played for the student council members to bond, get to know each other and have fun. They ate a meal together and worked on homecoming planning. Each of the five officers has a homecoming committee for football and basketbal...
