Reddies Softball wins 2015-16 Spring Sportsmanship Award

(Oct. 6, 2016) -- The Henderson State softball team received recognition for its good sportsmanship on Thursday when it was announced as the winner of the Great American Conference 2015-16 Spring Sportsmanship Award for the first time in program history. Reddies softball is the only sport at Henderson to receive the award for the 2015-16 year.
The Sportsmanship Award was founded in 2012 by the GAC and recognizes one school in the conference from each sport for good sportsmanship shown by players, coaches, fans and everyone involved in athletic events. The winning school is chosen by coaches an...
